What do you think of when you think of Avalon?  If you're familiar with English legends, you'd think of King Arthur.  When he was finished with his battles, he threw away his sword and retired to Avalon.  But rumour has it that he may come back.  Avalon must be a place of peace and beauty to have detained him for so long. 

In the same way, we understand the need to throw away our modern-day swords and retire or go on holiday.  We hope to provide you with homes of such warmth, beauty, and history that you, too, will want to stay forever....
